Thinking ahead..... Registration for 2011 Idol opens December 13, 2010
Madeline Dai crowned as the 2010 Sno Valley Idol Junior Champion
 Si View Metro Parks hosted the 6th annual Sno Valley Idol Junior Finals on Friday March 26th at Si View Community Center in North
Bend. This year’s contestants put on an incredible show filled with talent. The panel of judges had the challenging task of
scoring contestants on natural ability, quality of performance, showmanship and audience appeal narrowing down the field to
three finalists for audience vote.
Volunteers furiously tallied votes from the crowd of nearly 350 attendees during intermission to determine the outcome.
Master of Ceremonies Jeff Warren of State Farm Insurance, had the honor of announcing the results. The 2010 Sno Valley Idol Junior Champion
is 14-year old Madeline Dai from Fall City. Madeline is not a newbie to the music scene. She’s sung in the school choir
since 4th grade and just loves singing! She won the audience’s hearts with a striking performance of Ingrid Michaelson’s The Way I Am.
The 2010 Runner Up is Mikaela Ballard, a 7th grader from Tolt Middle School who entertained the crowd with the song You Are
The One That I Want from the movie Grease. Third place winner is Abigail Wall, a 5th grader from Snoqualmie Elementary with Crazier by
Taylor Swift.
 Sno Valley Idol Junior competition is one of many free community event organized by Si View Metro Parks with generous help from volunteers.
